Write a cinquain on any subject.
A cinquain is a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of twenty-two syllables of 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, in five lines.
Another form which is sometimes used by school teachers to teach grammar, is:
Line 1: Noun Line 2: Description of Noun Line 3: Action Line 4: Feeling or Effect Line 5: Synonym of the initial noun.
Here is an example:
angels kind beyond words they protect and forgive and make feelings of blissfulness cherubim

my heart
filled with Spring songs
singing inside days nights
songs of beauty, love and kindness
music
tender
soft like feathers
warp your heart very warm
no matter rain or shine or storms

Hi Sunny, I like yours but they are cinquains because your syllable count is off, a cinquain is 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, and yours are 1, 3 ,5 ,8, 3 and 3 ,4, 6, 10, 1...

great cinquians, Lisa! Bridge I'll be on the lookout for yours! Sunny, good poems but as bridge pointed out they are not cinquains, check your syllablel count and they will be fine Here goes mine: beauty does not befall those who have unkind souls it graces those who exhibit kindness

burning slowly
