yeah I am liking this song too these days, it has a lot of differnt meanings. I think he wrote the song to himself when eh was having all those troubles.

For me, it is a remminder that life is very short and time will run out fast and before you know it life is half over and there is litte time to do something valuable with your life...good writing in this one!

Yes bridge, Scott did write the song to himself and it is about when he was going through all of those personal problems a few years ago.

I agree, the song has many meanings and will touch and reach people in various ways.
