Hello Lisa, First of all let me again express my deepest sympathies to you for the recent loss of your dear father. As you know, I am not much of a poet. I mostly write lantunre poems and occasionally a haiku. I wanted to write a poem for you, so I hope you like it. I hope you do not mind me borowing a few sentences for you.Thank you for this wonderful site and for your friendship. Betty A Father’s Love
a father’s loss devastates the soul the memory of a father’s love heals all pain and sorrow
I hope you find comfort knowing that within the depths of Heaven’s embrace, your father now gently rests
I pray your father watches over you and your family and keeps you all safe for the remainder of your years
on those days when the world closes in, look beyond the golden horizon and hold the gracious hand of God
Remember to wrap yourself in your father’s loving memories and please know a father's love is forever held in the soul

Betty,
It is so thoughtful of you to write such a heartfelt poem for Lisa! To respond to the urgings of our heart at a time of loss, as you have done, is a most wonderful thing! It makes us very happy when people do things like this!
Lemieux
