this is a treasure Betty and a lovely thing to do these passages stand out for me: "on those days when the world closes in, look beyond the golden horizon and hold the gracious hand of God Remember to wrap yourself in your father’s loving memories and please know a father's love is forever held in the soul"

Betty,
It is so thoughtful of you to write such a heartfelt poem for Lisa! To respond to the urgings of our heart at a time of loss, as you have done, is a most wonderful thing! It makes us very happy when people do things like this!
Lemieux
Lemieux, your kind words mean much to me

First of all, my deepest condolences with the loss of your father dear Lisa. And Betty, what a wonderful thing you have undertaken to do with this poem, which I am sure Lisa appreciates very much and comforts her in her time of loss. To say that this is not a poem is an understatement, it is beautiful and heartfelt and I'm sure Lisa will treasure it. Heart2Heart

There's a reason for the three of these! This is commemorating a sad occasion. Yet, I believe this to be a most beautiful act of friendship. Bless both of you in this, a shared, poetic hug! Mike
