bourbon, neat
whiskey-night high
cell phone set on pulse
Motown on stereo
Ohio blue-black skyline
luminous fireplace ambiance
shadows dance on bare canvas-white walls
another Friday evening alone

Lisa, this is so very well-done 
true to form, a perfect etheree 
I read it several times to soak in it’s charm and beauty!
it tells a story that many of us feel every once in awhile...oh, I can tell you I have had several “Whiskey Night High ” evenings in my life... love it 
great picture and presentation and I love the title...your poetry is slamming this week and as always, much love to you
