beautiful poem Lisa I connect with this part because I remember sitting on my mother's lap while she read to me... "Cherish the child whose mother cradles him to bosom as she reads him his favorite story." a great poem with a wonderful message to parents and to us all

Lisa,I love the entire poem, but this part has a special meaning because my parents always allowed and encouraged me to have a voice and to use my mind...a great write!
