Hello guys! “Warrior Heart” was also published in Event’s Quarterly. It is one of my darker poems. Hope you all like it [/color][/b]
WARRIOR HEART
Fallen angel lets go of rusted chain which binds her.
Shivering body lays quiet in the vestibule.
Hushed prayer is whispered over dying soul.
Listless eyes shelter forbidden secrets.
Life-long torment is buried behind twisted mouth.
Bloodied hands, scarred from clawing, lay lifeless.
Worn eyes, gracefully, bow shut.
Smoldering anger, gently, comes to rest.
Warrior heart, beats faintly as the struggle comes to an end.
Before impending death, one last breath escapes.

:-[wow, this is fantastic, sad yes, but very well-scribed I would like to ask, is the woman in this poem a victim of another or of herself? Did she commit suicide or did she die from an act of violence? Just my curious nature... intriguing write...have a great day everyone

Just my curious nature... intriguing write...have a great day everyone thanks Harry As for the woman in the poem, I believe that a it is up to the reader's interpretation. So whatever you believe happened is what happened to her. To me half of the enjoyment of writing and is the interpretation of the writer's words and meaning by the reader Thanks for your question and thanks for stopping by
