here is mine:
LATE
Moonlight was a solace for her as she made her way down the dark pathway leading away from her home and away from her husband of three years who had become a monster. The bruise on her neck ached and her ankle was swelling. Moments ago he choked and pushed her down the stairs because diner was five minutes late.

here goes mine:
TRUE?
I never knew my mother. She gave me up for adoption when I was three days old. I was told she was unable to care for me because she was poor. As I look at photographs of her holding and kissing me 35 years ago, I pray this is true but I wonder why she never contacted me.

excellent stories everyone!
Here is mine:
LITTLE BLUE BLANKET
Today is laundry day. I hate doing the laundry because my new born son has a blanket similar to my first born son’s who died nearly five years ago. I dread laundry day because it nearly kills me every time I wash and fold this little blue blanket.
