FIRST LIGHT

wake of daylight emerges
passion-kissed mellow winds
encompass morning
rage of winter has departed
angelic breezes caress dawn
sing song birds chirp in harmony
a gentle rainfall waters
budding lawns of green
glorious grace of spring
has laid its course
picturesque indigo
blue sky horizon
welcomes first light
