TWENTY FOUR

I hope you are DISREGARDING the lies you've been told.
But I feel TROUBLE breeding inside your soul.
All I ever wanted was for you to KISS MY DISEASE
and for you to erase the PARASITE growing inside my weary mind.

I wish to remember only the GOOD TIMES
when our life wasn't just a BEAUTIFUL LIE.
I want something other than this feeling of COLLAPSE.
I long to give my wanton being BACK TO YOU.

You spew your hatred for me like AMMUNITION.
Ripping me raw leaving me with NO SOUL TO SELL.
I am wiser, no longer am I SHINE EYED.
I am left with this bitter feeling because I lost the DRAW.

My life is empty because there is NO YOU and no me.
Will our love forever be encased by SILENCE?
I wonder for us will there ever be a NEXT TIME?
GOOD-BYE FOR NOW is all I can bare to say.

I pray from losing you, I do not COME APART.
You know neither one of us are WINNING.
There is nothing for us to GAIN from this.
We will forever be locked in THE CYCLE of coming and going.

Everything is so ugly and WRONG.
My dear God, KNOWING BURNS, there is no more you and I.
I mourn the days when we were happy. In my tears, I DROWN
as I pray for this vacuous void of wanting MORE to be filled.
