ALONG THE WAY
Along the way we love and lose, we leave and return only to turn around and runaway again.
Along the way we hurt and heal, rise and fall and sometimes lose our way from under the rain.
Along the way we touch the hand of a stranger and let go of the hand of a friend only to reach for that hand again.
Along the way we lose a sense of ourselves and if we are fortunate will come to understand our existence and purpose before we perish this earth.

Hey Lisa,
I find this one very intriguing, nice read
I love this stanza"Along the way we touch the hand of a stranger and let go of the hand of a friend only to reach for that hand again."

Even though I kind of don't hope it's this way... along the TEXTway, but... it's so true.

I meant:TEXT I want to love but not lose. I don’t want to leave and return, on top of running away again. I don’t want to hurt or fall in the first place. I don’t want to lose my way under the rain. Of course, I know it’s not possible, for we won’t be humans then. I’m sure it won’t happen. They say, “If you are never sad, you can never experience happiness. If you have never failed, then you have cannot ever taste the greatness of success.” Still, the thought of never failing/being-sad just provokes the brink of my strange imagination at times. Sometimes I wonder if such an unrealistic world really does exist somewhere.

:)Please disregard the orange "TEXT" thing that appears in my last message. This is the first time I've ever attended in a forum. (I'm not too modern, am I?)

Along the way, if we are very lucky, we stumble upon words strung together in such a way as to enlighten and make us ponder the very nature of our existence. Thank you for penning such words. Faerie
