Lisa, you now how I feel about your poetry, but this one is so on point...you keep the focus where it should be on a young man's death and have avoided the smoke and mirrors...excellent job!

I watched Trayvon's mother and brother testify today and it really brought it home for me today that they are a family hurting and grieving for their son and brother who died so senselessly...I commend you for writing an excellent and most insightful poem, Lisa

these passages say it all, Lisa

many thanks everyone, this poem was emotional to write and the trial is hard to watch. I feel deeply for the Martin family and hope they get justice for Trayvon...

I know Trayvon was murdered, but I am so afraid that justice will not be served in this case for the Martin family...powerful writing Lisa!

yes, I agree. I believe the jury will not convict as they should. I feel for the Martin family and pray they make it through this...powerful and prolific writing, Lisa!

I do not feel good about the outcome either, but I will keep the Martin family in my prayers....as always Lisa you have penned a poignant and powerful poem that will stand the test of time...

I do believe the Prosecution could have done a better job with some of their witnesses but that does not negate the truth of this case...powerhouse poem, Lisa!
