yes, Lisa I saw it and I cried... she is such a strong woman...I could not be that calm if my son had been murdered in cold blood and his murderer got away with it...thanks for the link...love to the Echoes family!

thanks everyone and yes Harry I agree with you on every point...it is a shame that they keep letting him get away with breaking the law...maybe the next time he hurts or kills someone they will do the right thing?

I am with you Harry and Lisa. One good thing is at least they are looking at the iPad for evidence. They have not ruled out charging him this time. He is a very dangerous man...great poem Lisa!

Justice for Trayvon
death of their son is the death of all of our dear sons
root of hatred runs deep within a fearful mind and soul
self-appointed neighborhood watcher man who thought he was the man
committed the ultimate crime against mankind and took the life of a "suspicious" looking young man
who was wearing a hoodie and who was "armed" with a can of Arizona tea and a bag of Skittles
a life of promise and a kid's dreams of playing football and flying airplanes erased in seconds
a mother, a father forever left grieving for their son’s laughter and loving embrace
for the remainder of their lives they will forever hear the recorded sounds of their son’s last frightened screams for help
all because their son was a young man whose only crime was walking down a dark street while Black
cries of injustice speak louder than the reckless actions of this one lost man
a call for calm has been made to try to quiet the brewing storm
within engulfing winds screams justice for Trayvon

WOW Lisa, you had your hand on the pulse of a serious and disturbing underlying problem in our inner cities....with all that is going on in St. Louis and Ferguson MO, you certainly could foresee what was coming around the corner...you are a prolific and profound writer that I treasure!
