UNCERTAIN JOURNEY of FATE

dawn softly whispers
white doves fly cross
flawless indigo blue sky
passion-laced breezes
caress velvet-petal roses
lazy summer morning arises

standing on backyard balcony
she sips warm black coffee
from her favorite chipped mug
and watches another
glorious sunrise

years of harbored anger
for what she could
not change and was
powerless to prevent
has begun to subside

under the sunâ€™s warmth
she allows her wretched soul
to accept lifeâ€™s
uncertain journey of fate

in time
her faith
will be
reborn
