inside my quiet self branches spill down to the woodlands wild garlands can be reached by fingers from afar the hues, soft pastel smudged across an easel in a form so stunning i could relish and touch it savoring the stamen in my wet mouth... bright sky peeps out of a newborn landscape a primitive choir of animals chants of radiant praise for a season as my palms reflect the glass of earth on the mist of day nibbling flakes from my eyes light turning red, night fading white licking stems of twilight dew entering the nooks of my soul to a glow and the shadows of all constellations rise like giant stones, beautiful and silent piled up in a row lining into heaven... i walk far beyond my own galaxies, content inside my quiet self ~n~

B444444444444444444444444! Great to see you. What's the grad school thing? Love the poem. You always have this exacting hand with your work. A powerful artistic point of view, very precise wording... lovely as always.

Very pretty and I like the imagery. But as a "dirty", 63 yr-old man I must say that I found "savoring the stamen in my wet mouth" just a touch erotic for a poem about Nature. But then I guess one could argue that Nature does arouse passion. After all nymphs and satyrs did roam through the forests right!
Happy New Year, Mike
