My Questions

Did I hear that certain song
Leading me when days went wrong?
When the melody sweetly sung
Erased my heart’s aching pang?

Did I feel that soothe of dreams
Granting light and warmth that gleams?
A loving touch soft like a breeze
Giving my mind that needed ease?

Did I realize the reason for living
A reflection to what I am giving?
Dreams feeling like mysterious smoke
Fading away when I awoke?

Did I admire the promising rose
That filled my inside with words of prose?
Creating sweet desires of love
And lifting me up to the light above?

Did I let my emotions take hold
Permitting what my heart has told?
Of all the gloom I wand to get rid
Just to answer to all questions
