Disembarked
Spring is here there is no doubt, Flowers reveal the joyful truth That winter lost now all about, Is disembarked by springtime youth. Really it seemed to never leave, Stayed stubborn in the garden beds, Green ivy, the only coloured weave, Now mixed with hundred flower heads.
Spring banished ice time yet for good, Freed all creatures from any hood.

Yah spring! This is lively with lots of energy which I like. I also like your last line and all the rhymes. Very sweet poem, much enjoyed!

Loved this poem LP, really we could also say here "winter sat stubborn in the garden beds", there seems no end to it and we all long for warmth. Enjoyed it, thank you. Ulla xx

It seems good and pretty decent, but that last line seemed a trifle out of place. But the rest is good stuff!
