New Years Eve
How wonderful to be silent together
To revel in thoughts for the New Year
Remain awake under the silky sky
Sharing dreams, perhaps a sigh
To join in the other's brainwave
Feeling satisfied, happy and safe
While the time is breathing away
For a special New Year Day

 That kind of togetherness, when you can share moments silently enjoying the company of the other person, is a rare and precious thing. Many couples only have this as a fleeting gift, there and then gone. Some couples never reach this level of love, understanding, acceptance and sharing.
