New Years Eve How wonderful to be silent together To revel in thoughts for the New Year Remain awake under the silky sky Sharing dreams, perhaps a sigh To join in the other's brainwave Feeling satisfied, happy and safe While the time is breathing away For a special New Year Day

That kind of togetherness, when you can share moments silently enjoying the company of the other person, is a rare and precious thing. Many couples only have this as a fleeting gift, there and then gone. Some couples never reach this level of love, understanding, acceptance and sharing. To get to this point in a relationship is blessed and wonderful! Happy New Year my friend to you and yours! God bless, Mike PS - Oh, and many ;D for a fine and meaningful poem!

It is always such a solemn moment to close the chapter of a year and welcome a new one. Sometimes it is nearly too strong to be shared. Thank you Mike for your precious words! Ulla xx
