Proposal
Conversation in bright sunlight Scattered giggles and laughter Words in flight Hands loosely linked, arms swinging Walking with a rhythmic skip Love is singing Love is playing. Hips swaying in accord Warmth without and warmth within Adoration is abroad
Busy street filled with feet They stop. He gets down on one knee Souls meet. Feet stop. Heartbeat. She screams a resounding ‘YES!!’ My feet move in unison with others Yet we cheer this Prince and Princess. They stand and twirl and hug real tight Only eyes speak the language of love Words burn blindingly bright
And the humdrum lives that bore witness Including the uninteresting unexceptional me Were injected with a bigness and a hipness That surpassed grandiosity.
If time was on rewind I would zap back to that day Pause, then hold And behold that one day We found ourselves in such disarray.

Yeah, Rusty, I like the fluidity of the piece... the story moves along very well... particularly in the second section on... lovely work.
