I am with you Lisa, it sickens me when criminals make money from books
I heard that Sandusky is writing a book and that is shameful

I said "not sure" for one reason...the nature of the crime...
for example, perhaps it is OK for white colllar crimes but certainly it is not OK for violent crimes...
I may change my vote, but for now I am sticking with "not sure"

That is up for the court to decide.
As much as a criminal is a criminal, the amount of benefits that may be expropriated from them should be no more than the damage that they themselves incurred; so there should be nothing to stop them from profitting from their crimes (where would we be if Jeffrey Archer was prevented from writing Cat O' Nine Tales?). Only if the book does pose a potential threat to society's wellbeing should we then consider preventing a criminal from even circulating such material.
