Joy of life – grace of seasons
Colours radiant and warm from the sun
They tell us of good days and having fun,
When laughter spreads wide not only from kids
Life moves on smoothly, in pleasant fits.
Then like in summer everything seems good
Happiness and peace given as should.
Shadows by dusk then appear without sound
Colours turn dim and skies do confound
With millions of lights there far above
And a moon so gently talking of love.
Darkness though gives a feeling of cold,
The balance of all is to behold.
Both summer and winter, sun and moon
They give our life the perfect tune,
Joy and sorrow, miracles and gifts
If they’re noticed, we can write long lists.
To say ‘thank you’ we have many reasons
