To start a day…
My friend, your rhymes are a delight They paint the world warm and bright Compete with Spring sunshine all day So I jot down my thoughts today.
A radiant sky above words of prose Wakes up the buds and stirs the rose So fast the seasons pass us by Merciless make our lifetime fly.
How great then is a friendly share To have someone for whom we care And while you rest your weary head I think of you and hum instead.
Such days are good and may remain In our world should freedom reign I toast you with a glass red wine And with a smile send off this rhyme.
