Poetic Prayer

To God I leave this prayer
For my so precious Friend
Watch his needs and desire
To him your ears do bend

Keep him well in learning,
In work and daily mood
This is my honest yearning
God grant him all the good

My friendship helps in trouble
Wipes all sorrows away
If good is shared it's double
I'll cover his paths with joy

Send Angels to his side
Grant peace and harmony
Our bond keep strong and tight
By love's sweet melody

To God I leave this prayer
For my so special Friend
By means of divine care
That's all what I can send.
