Winning Season

Everything attached to me wins,
despite stormy seas blowing winds
upon my world's axis that spins,
as the devil's poison spreads sin,
infecting veins supplying life,
mourning a union deeming me wife.

There is a champion in me
already claiming victory,
as Christ brings his sword to battle
against the darkness of evil,
attacking my salvation's light,
summoning these verses to write.
