I read your home page too, btw, and might I say both are effective reads. However, I'd also like to suggest you need an editor with panache enough to glow and grow your inimitable and effervescent talent. Now we had a member here once whom I regard as such, called HANNIBAL but he seems not here now! He?ll come back when I put my real PER back as it was prior...and sooner than later I hope too for both!
Now, shell, I read your submission in the competition here and was flattened by the eloquent style and consolation of same soul you portrayed the topic with within it. And I would hope your next book contains it ... YES, it is that good imvho!

Yes, i am at a point now when, looking back, i am not exactly wincing at what i have written but very aware that there is a need for much serious tweaking, especially as i would like to get a second book together. I never thought about getting together with an editor, not even sure how that happens but i totally agree that an outside approach to my insides is just what is needed now. I am so wary of people that i am Ms Contrary incarnate! If anyone felt like helping me out, most of their dubious reward would be in learning first how to deal with me before they could steer me ... sheesh, poor soul LOL ... i'll consult with the universe .. hmm .. why is she nodding already?
PA just announced that they were not taking anyone outside of U.S. for now ... i imagine it must be to do with costs, or maybe they just have enough american poets and don't "need" me ... maybe it is even to do with keeping PA american rather than international?
When i first came to this site i did find some comments and stuff by Hannibal, i remember being impressed ...
I am kind of awed by the time and energy you have committed to looking at my stuff, and honoured too (i know, that sounds a bit slushy, eh? Must be a moon phase) but truly, THANK YOU!

With you living in the UK, tis hard to get a fair chop at the reader pie (so to speak) because of the sophisticated homus manner of those hegemonic and tofty practitioners there.
As for what I eat, you cheeky little dichotomy, I'm a veggie head... though not strictly so as my brain demands its pure nutritional scream at times!
My downfall is my passion for this art of word, though if you wish to make a living out and step outside that cocoon you've warmed too much, I feel, inside of, I too will lift my game and focus more upon your art so you might do just that! But what I will ask in exchange is that you write where I can ensure you are treated fairly but most of all with respect and honesty!
Lisa is a good soul, and I'm sure we can nudge from her a Site Book of Authors work for sale in a fora -pay - manner ( viewers must pay to enter and attempt to have their own work published here also) to pay for her sweat and honoured members to remain here for philanthropic rationale rather those of more other (sites) narcissistic ones!
Maybe even this forum, perhaps?
