 - this photo was taken about a 5 minute drive from my home. one of my best methinks.  - i have a really crappy camera. sorry its blurry.  - my dog, posing before the river.  - i was jogging, when suddenly a tiny beaver splashed in this little pond. i got distracted and ended up sitting there, trying to capture a photo of the little creature for quite some time.  - where creek meets river. sunset. - ill probably add more photos to this thread as i find them on my computer. ive definitely got a few more kicking around. |

Hey Little Firebird,
I love the first pic, the one with the shadows of the trees in the water. It is so divine, absolutely haunting.
The second pic reminds me of the Blair Witch woods. Something evil herein lies, waiting for the heart that beats the unholy rhythm.
Your doggie is sooooooooooooooooo cute!
In a past place where I have lived, surrounded by woods and streams, I have seen many of these very same structures, little beaver dams blocking the flow of water, monuments to their ingenious little teeth and strength. However, I never caught them in the act of building their little dwellings.
I liked the way you phrased the last pic, "where creek meets river. sunset. So very quaint and utterly Thoreau-ish.
What a lovely place. I look forward to more of your offerings, Little Firebird.

BC is Georgeous, I lived near the Canadian rockies in Northern Montana///looks similliar.
