a few more days and she will scatter her veils of fireflies with sienna rhinestones gliding into the spicy tongues of daybreak's tail… and the fragrance of amber, teak, green breeze, raisin seeds might as well alight with breaths ripe with bulbs of wild sails, violets, ruffled skirts and star candles., as if her skin percolates with the grooves of jeweled songs still to be dipped into the basin of late dusk’s serenades.
i’ll watch her footprints puddle upon the skin of budding seas— there, the pleasure of her bronze silhouette would brush the tusks of infant shells ready to lie naked to the openness of her city of roses and studded thymes. if i can curl, even linger for night’s rendezvous with morning’s voice, past all rivers and streams ; i will gather all the garlands of stones in my arms, to grasp the first trickle of the month of may. i have waited long enough. nenette Poem of The Week

Ah yes she will soon be here, and apart from September perhaps, May is my favourite month. Your poetic descriptions are almost beyond belief dear lady, "sienna rhinestones", "spicy tongues" and "skin of budding seas", why you are spoiling us Nenette, have you ever thought that we might get used to this high standard of exquisite poesy m'dear ? I always love your unique way of seeing, experiencing the world... then expressing it in sharp, fascinating images. The month of May! My birthday is in there. Also, your poetry is so active! I love the use of words like tusk, slight, etc. and phrases like the title... MONTH of FIVE very creative ways of expressing yourself.
