below earth, marbled palms hear the arteries of the undersea teeming with glassy moss, granite and embroidered shells. a siege of lotus defies gravity soaking the salt of a new moon baby faced, lulled into deep coma that only hammocks of copper sand can spare. tender are tendrils murmuring diaphanous speech of serenity , somewhat delicate as ocean mouth is to fish lips in the moist pulse of swelling spaces for steady fleets to beckon the blue.
not so, guardians of waters choose the engines of winds to ruffle ship’s sail. man- made vessels are aliens in the underworld: greedy eyes, black hands that pirate the mothers of pearls and babies of dolphins. the awakened urchins roll along, shaking the basement of a ship on a bank which bears the doors of aquarian bed, reflecting mirrors of an island scented with coconut milk and hips of summer women bathing in the garden of such innocent sky. below earth, a divide between friends and foes is solemn; that beyond words, the sea rises to acknowledge the kindness of strangers, if they are kind enough to respect the gift of privacy. nenette

that pirate the mothers of pearls and babies of dolphins. For me you always have this elegant phrasing that seems to come right out of the Romantic period... stories of daring do! Yet, you also have that 21st Century hip attitude that makes each poem you write as rich as strawberry pie! I bath in these words of your and always feel refreshed afterward.

Powerful and sweet is the imagery of this melodious and precious poem Nenette, you always lead the reader into a fairy world, a world of dreams or paradisiac pictures. I feel carried on a wave of melodious language and the beauty of meaning makes me dizzy. Thank you! Ulla xx
