---Sijo is a Korean short classic form of unrhymed verse. It has three long lines. Each line runs between 14 and 16 syllables, with the middle line often the longest. The first line states a theme, the second line counters it, and the third line resolves the poem. if waters of late march swerve in fingers crocheted gray -black let the crayons of spring’s falls splatter threads of celadon ringlets then rivers robed in silk basins will glide on fairy’s wings
