Autumn ease beneath the trees, a gentle breeze that skims the sea, a faint mist wallows as darkness follows, through and through the woodland hallows, The creatures scurry perspective blurry, time to hide "Hurry hurry!" engulfed in black no turning back, the people have come to saw and hack..

Egad my new friend! Well presented in that it seems to shift gears to get where it's going. It began so pretty and peaceful out there in the idyllic woods. And then it turned into mayhem as "we" came into the picture. I get it and it's a great poem for what it says. Yet I was somewhat sad that it didn't remain pure and unscathed. Nice writing, Mike
