"Reaching for his saddlebag he takes a rusty sword into his hand." - From Don Quixote by Gordon Lightfoot
This man oft dreams of days of old when maids were fair and warriors bold.
But he also knows our world of today which fills him with both fear and dismay.
And his reaction to that to him feels so right. He says we must stand tall and fight.
For even those whose souls abhor war must when needed have a warrior at their core.
There are times we just can't turn our back and Theo sees then what we must not lack.
He espouses courage in the face of danger. To the perils of this world he is no stranger.
When confronted by the evil of our foes, we must fight for what's right as Theo knows.
Though he looks at the past much like a dreamer, in the present he calls out like Todd Beamer.
"Let's roll!", he says if it's roll we must and crush our enemies down into the dust.
For when he compares now to the days of old, Theo sees we must all at times be warriors bold!

My Friend... As Sam Elliott would've said in the 'Big Lebowski' "Dude, you know me too well and honor me greatly with this piece. Thank you from my warmed cockles to my swelled head."

And you quote one of my favorite actors so thank you as well! Glad you liked it and keep up the good fight my friend. This world needs people willing and able to do that! Namaste, Mike

I am posting the last chapter of my Dream Saga, Ronan's Passage, now. It's a bit long but, I hope, worth the wait.
