Hello all  I have not been here in quite awhile becasue I have been real busy with work and with family life, but I thought I would pose another prompt to liven this section up, a good majority of us seemed to enjoy this section a few months ago  I will email some folks and see if I can get some of them back here to answer the prompt… My prompt is to write a modern haiku using these three words in this order: shadows
broken
cloudshere's mine  encircling shadows broken silhouette rain clouds burst |

Hi I got your email Sierra, I visit the site a few times a week to read all of the fine poetry posted here, but anyway here is what I came up with:
shadows paint a portrait
alone, broken man sits
gray clouds cover blue sky
