**Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of my father's passing...His loss is tough on me, but I am much stronger from it...I wrote this poem shortly after learning of his death...[/color]
ORPHAN
coffin lid closed shut
cold metallic to the touch
frankincense lingers in air
father departed
I am left feeling like an
orphan at age forty-five
