You say, “Write about nature, About a bird, a flower, or a tree; Don’t you think it is better Than writing about your love for me?”
I say, “Nature is my heart, Where my love for you dwells, Unwilling ever to depart, The only home it never sells.”
You say, “Write about the sun While it sets beyond the sea; Don’t you agree that it is more fun Than writing about your passion for me?”
I say, “ The fire of my passion Burns longer than that of the sun, Rekindled in a constant fashion By love not to be doomed or undone.
You say, “Write about the breeze That brings to the senses cool, fresh air; Don’t you reckon it is a theme to please And not about how much for me you care?”
I say, “Of your sweet breath and kisses, My being is entirely aware, For they bring new life to my senses More refreshing than the purest air.”
You say, “Write about the rainbow, The beauty of the things you see; Let your imagination grow, The world does not revolve around me.”
I say, “You color my life Brighter than any thing I see. Ever since I became your wife, You have become the world to me.”
