Straight to the Heart My eyes looked ahead to sunset The sky a misty gleaming show Waking love words in my head Also the image of a rainbow Enchanted, I felt your presence My day did not lose the light And gave by rainbow's testament Serenading feelings of twilight Moments when stars are twinkling And the sea turns ebb to tide Hearts like watering snow are melting Happiness does not want to hide Light fades, disguising the sky red Mist veils the sea of memory Soothes inside pain from regret That we can't share this reality. Each of us some day will recite As we watch strolling hand in hand On this earthly shore love will incise The vow into our rainbow's band

You, now, PS, you have such a gentle spirit.. your characters face sadness with such a noble, human grace... hope always in your poems... though hope is very fragile.

Many thanks RRW, I agree, hope is very fragile - but without hope there is no life! I highly value your comment. Ulla xx

Very pretty dear one, you always bare your heart and soul in what you write. And, as others have said, there is a gentleness in your style and wording, I love your imagery. This was a fine read! Take care, Mike

And I love your always so kind comments Mike, thank you very much! Would a poem be a poem without the heart being involved to the write? I think 'no'. Warm well-wishes! Ulla xx
