Is your bones decaying to the tired cold earth? Do you weep? Do you hurt? Are you alone in the arms of an angel? I am with the earth spirit wind pushing the sun asking for night's friend.
Life is a bitter change autumn turns to winter and the leaves brush the scent of gray to Heaven's stay.
Are you ok up in Heaven I long for you. I cry. I know you are happy singing I just feel so empty inside. Is your body in the ground turning to bones how long does it take is that time old like our soul?
If flowers could sleep they would ask for more time maybe even a touch of rain. If there was life they would breathe the tear and no longer hide.
Your hands were so beautiful an artist to believe. Your voice had meaning the angels fly around you with joy. I just can't help but wonder about the soul I know you are in Heaven and I think about your body in the tired cold grave I wish I could give you comfort. I wish I could save your bones for love that's all I would want. You are in heaven yea I know but I still wonder how long does it take the body to turn to dust through the freezing rain and snow? According to what some scientsts say, it takes roughly about 10 years for full decomposition, and another 200-300 years for the bones depending on the soil.
That said, this was a heartrending write. It's hard for love to die, I realise, and for many years even after the same event, the bloodletting would still only be in its preliminary stage. This was a good write, and while sad poetry isn't usually my thing, I appreciated this. Greatly.

CGGGGGG! So good to see your writes again. A little more straightforward the images in this one... LOVE the main phrase... has a wonderfully sad feel to it but a sense of sort of sick humor to it... still the piece is heart fely and wonderfully imagined.

misty, CG.... your verse so free allows me to feel your heart that flows with much grace and a certain sadness laced along the lines... a brave, longing soul this one has...
