A part of your self & a part of your blood
It’s a blessing to have a daughter
I am your bundle of joy… hand hold me my sweet mother

First man in my life who will be adored forever
My friend, philosopher & guide
I am your little princess… hand hold me daddy

Moving away from my close knits
I’ve decided to walk with you, blindly in love
I am your insecure young woman… hand hold me my love

All is transient in this little world…fact realized late
With Soft and crumpled hands, I bow to thee
I am your lonely old child… hand hold me my lord
