You don't have to be a Christian to love Christmas, It's a festival for all the girls and boys; Even Buddha, meditatin' can hardly bear the waitin' For jolly Santa and his bag of toys.
You don't have to be a Christian to love Christmas, It's such fun to decorate the Christmas tree; The Shinto in Japan and the kids of the Koran, Their eyes light up when all the gifts they see.
You don't have to be a Christian to love Christmas, It's a holiday for all the world to share; The Druid and the Jain and the atheist down the lane Are wrapping gifts for family everywhere.
You don't have to be a Christian to love Christmas, There's a friendliness in everyone you meet; The Hindu and the Wiccan can bake a sumptious chicken And invite the Jewish family down the street!

A sweet poem, a wonderful concept, one I wish everyone could see. See and even better, accept. My Dad was Jewish. I was raised Protestant. My wife is Catholic. Who cares? It all amounts to the same. God is God no matter how we worship Him! And you John are a wise man! Happy Holidays, Mike

you are right God is God and i know lots of people Jewish and oof other faiths including atheist that celebrated the holiday of christmas. while i forget what language the word "christ" is the true celebration i thought it was about celebration the birth of yeshua of natherath known now as jesus christ and the three wise men given him gifts and in return celebrating the nature of christ mass which is the gift of given. many christian people i know are tired of celebrating christmas. because of the masses premoting christmas as mass crazed people trying to buy gifts christmas true meaning has lost a lot of its lacluster. i am bed-ridden and don't care about any holidays for aany reason. in the USA we glorify holidays too much for the wrong reasons the fore fathers of this great country intended its holidays to be celebrated
i always liked going to a church to her the the christmas story for i sensed and felt the brotherly and sisterl.y love in the air of christmas true intenions.
peace with you all. it is great that people3 share christian values. you do not need to heed to christian doctrine to have morals like a christian.
by the way great poem.

Christmas - the token of God's love as well as the celebration of love to the world. We only grow wiser if we succeed to more and more accept "the other" and leave behind prejudice. Happy Christmas and thank you for this beautiful poem! Ulla xx

By all expectations we sometimes forget that we all are human beings to share the world and all it gives. -Josh
