The love I feel is like a rose nearing the end of its season, so vibrant and flourished until the chilled winds sift through each petal breaching the soul, then slowly I lose color as I get colder, my heart darkens as my petals wither and embrace solitude, I become petrified, no emotion, nothing to lift me from this apathetic path that's been bestowed upon me.., one by one I shed each emotion that once held strong, each flowing carelessly into the vast field of despair.., nothing can change that what I am my darling.., but know what I once was able to feel was real...

Excellent use of emotion in a well written piece. But once again a poem of despair. Unlike many people who sink into depression a lot of flowers rejuvenate. They reappear in the Spring as strong and as beautiful as before. People need to learn to do that as well! To stop withering and dying inside and to find a way to go on living as vibrant as they always were. It may be a case of practice what you preach but it sounds right to me!
Take care my friend, Mike

the flowers that rejuvenate are perennials and others being annuals despite either, even the perennials can be a vicious cycle depending on many factors so it cant really be determined for one by others opinion there is always a little hope even in me despite my writings for i onl begin to write when an epiphany takes course in my head good or bad they are enticed by my emotions and thoughts at the time but thank you for it
