I was so sad to hear about the passing of Dr. Maya Angelou this morning. She was and will forever be my favorite poet.
Her death has deeply saddened me and I hope she rests in peace...

it hurts when we lose someone of her magnitude...she was a "Phenomenal Woman" that will be missed by us all...RIP Maya!

I was sad to hear about her death as well. Maya is my favorite poet and I cherish the gifts she has given me and others...I wish her soul much peace

I knew she had been ill for quite awhile, but it was a still a slight shock to hear about her death. She was a great writer and
beautiful person that we all will miss...R.I.P Maya...
