In Silence
Silence as the tide comes in across the sunny sand The flashing Sun like diamonds in the ocean blue We paddled through the shallows and I held on to your hand Wrapped only in the peace that’s found as I walked the beach with you.
Grassy Downs behind us touched the bottom of the sky And there upon the hillside woolly sheep had seen The lonely paraglider’s shadow as he drifted by Having shared the air where the morning mist had been.
The stony island causeway had bowed its once dry head Beneath the rush and the weight of the ever surging sea Over-looked by the church’s ground with its graves of buried dead Near the dry stone wall where you tucked the love from me.

Lovely yet so Tragic!
Lord I know...there's nothing...nothing that can quickly ease the hurt. We all have to walk right through it.
