A song can spark a magic moment,
A flower can wake a day-dream.
One tree can start a real forest,
A single bird will herald Spring.
With a smile begins a friendship,
The touch of a hand lifts a soul.
One star can guide the ships at sea
And our hope can frame the goal.
One vote can surely change a nation,
A golden sunbeam lights the room.
One candle wipes out all darkness,
A loving smile will conquer gloom.
One step must start each journey.
With one word you show you care.
One thought will start a message
And an urge for you to share.
One voice can speak with wisdom,
A heart will know what's true,
One life can make a difference,
