I watched the golden moon touched shore so many times with you
and we left the evenings pious solitude to wander lifes skies of blue,
where silence is such a holy psalm, the sacred peace of the world
like lifes wondrous silken pennant that is so carefully unfurled,
then we bid the skies of dark blue and grey a soft solemn goodnight
and we held each other close as we both wandered towards the light,
where we settled gently on lifes shore, and strolled along its sands
and when we reached the starlit ocean, it whispered its commands.
it placed a shing birthstone in your hand and another one in mine
then its breezes kissed us on each cheek to make our love combine,
our smiles were so discernible that the starlight crowned our heads
and then angels of the moonlit evening took os off to share lifes beds,
when we woke up to the dawn we shared the grace of waking dreams
our lives felt bathed in pure protection, or at least that’s how it seems,
we both strolled along the golden beach and read poetry in the sand
and we saw the man with the ebony cane hold life at his command.
we touched a dawn that kissed our brows with a rising sunlit smile
as we stood and took in natures wonder for just a glorious little while,
it felt so wonderful to be a piece of natures perfect and loving heart
and to natures silent godly face, we swore that we would never part,
forever is so much an endless word that travels with us everywhere
to wrap up all those precious things that both of us will always share,
indeed silence is such a Holy Psalm, so much a heavenly release
we will both hold hands together, and our love will never ever cease.
