The curtains ruffled in the glow of dawn
so very many reasons being so softly born,
like greylag geese across a newborn sky
calling beautfully together as they slowly fly,
and crystal silence across the dawns unbroken sky
where moments drift without saying their soft goodbye,
sometimes dreams collide with clouds drifting into space
then the curtains ruffled in this sacred hallowed place.
Then the curtains closed once more just to keep out the sun
for the stars were like diamonds, beautifully heaven spun,
and the curtains glowed molten yellow like shades ofthe moon
as somewhere all around there played a heaven enraptured tune,
snow soft celestial Faeries stretched their wings and sang their song
and no matter where in the universe, how could Faeries all be wrong,
and when moon ribbons tied them gently in a moon gold avenue
they danced a celestial maypole dance that made their dreams come true.
Then the gold clad curtains fluttered through the cosmic winds of space
past lovely mist edged fluttering of the most pure white cosmic lace,
and they gently got back to the earth just before the dawns visit was due
they fixed themselves in the firmament so they could wonder at the view,
and it all was so spectacular that faerie dust granted so many dreams
pixies stared straight up at the stars, or simply at scattered moonbeams,
between painted pillars of the night or simply where their crystal glows
and all around the stars softly glittered, just like travelling picture shows.
