Resonance


Very often I look for silence

Spend time in a tranquil place.

Nothing like peace and freedom

Away from hectic time’s pace.



Sway with Poppies in the breeze

Watch the swallows swiftly sail,

Send off my dreams with fluffy clouds

Beyond any earthly trail.



With closed eyes I listen to

The whispering in the trees,

Telling from life’s wonders

All over the place, there and these.



I then need to say “Thank you”

For this my life’s blessed time,

And I find peace and freedom

By fate’s merciful chime.
