It’s life we say when rains fall our way
Precious droplets bring the moisture most welcome
To blooming petals and the birds which sway
From winds beckoning a thunderous anthem
Dreams then flow with the powerful rumble
Igniting sweet thoughts for moments to ponder
Stirring admiration for the reflecting puddle
Repeated knowledge of God’s graceful wonder
Let us take heart, friends near and afar
Every summer rain indeed does brighten
The words of our muse are like a star
A flaring awakening to enlighten.
