On the off chance that someone will read this, I am going to post it. When I first came to the site I posted in a variety of forums and also commented on poetry in those forums, but it seems of late, most everyone (alas, myself included) only frequents one forum. We need to get back to being about more specific where we post and then actually things posted there! Or, we need to do away with the extraneous forums. Sorry, for being persnickety, but this has been bugging me and I am abnormally hormonal tonight--LOL.

I apologize ahead for the length of this resonse... LOL...at least your honest about how you feel...as I have been on this site for almost a year now, and this same topic has bugged me for a much longer time....I have talked to Lisa, about reformatting the site for this very reason...I pray that no offense will be taken by anyone here, but Lisa has sent out notices before to members that they only post 2 or 3 poems or writings a week, because as there are over 300+ members there are some who are regulars that post 3 to 5 poems in one day or even within one week and I personally feel that it's unfair, particularly for new members that join. Poems get bypassed A LOT. Since I volunteered to be a mod, I have tried VERY HARD to keep up with posts. I try to look for ones that appear to have been missed or not commented on at all and bump them up. I think anyone posting appreciates the notice and a comment or two. In my opinion, it would be OK for someone to post like say a haiku for instance under "Post Your Poetry" forum and then IF I can keep up, I will move them to the appropriate forum after so many day's of having been viewed. I have extensively spoken with Lisa strongly suggesting that she revamp the site and get rid of a lot of forums so that it is not so overwhelming. ..areas that no one either frequents or do not pay attention to at all, as you have mentioned. So I totally agree and understand where your coming from, hormonal or not....LOL.....And there most probably will be persons who will read this and not respond, simply because they don't care or whatever, and once again, I don't wish to offend anyone. As there are many wonderful people on this site that write beautifully and whom I've made friends with. Another thing that is bothersome for me is that many post and then do not come back very readily anyway to acknowledge that people have taken the time to read and comment. I mean for me it's just common courtesy to do so. As I try to respond to everyone that posts. Whether many notice that or not..and I'm not saying that everyone needs to do that, (being disabled I have a lot of time to do so) and I know that others (and I truly understand) have very busy lives. It would be nice if others do this and give their opinions as to whether they agree or not and offer some feedback one way or the other. Maybe a poll might be an idea? .....muse

I think you do a great job muse. If we all could do half of what you do. I need to try to comment on newer member's things more.
