Hello everyone, some of you may know that my book "The Chronicles of Daboetry" came out a few months back. Well I just received my first "review" on amazon.com by the Brilliant Brian Young. I was so "elated" that i just had to share it with you all.

This is the most insane thing I have seen, a "NU KIND OF POETRY" You created you own style, huh. First of all learn how to use the English language properly, before you even try to move on to the poetic language. you sound like a rapper not a poet, this is a disgrace to the world of poetry.

Don't go claiming you created your own style, when you description reads like that. A poet is one of fine literature, a master of the English language, not street slang. Please, get this book out of here!!!

He's a funny man! Clowns like that are a dime a dozen! Ooooops! I used slang. If you run into the guy again you might inform the poor dude (ooops! I did again!,,, AND AGAIIIIIN!) That rap IS poetry and slang IS poetry! Shakespeare used slang (well, Mr. Young may not like Shakespeare) AND in AMERICA we don't speak English! We speak American.

The problem with guys like this is they more interested in the opinion than the work of the artist. It's a shame really. But non-artists (that's probably slang too) have a hard time understanding anyone other than themselves. DA, you know what I think of your work.
