hey all,
I was just wondering what you all thought about the Imus situation, being an African American woman I was and still am appalled by his idioic statements and agree that he should have been fired, what do you all think?

absolutely, I thought he should have been fired a decade ago, this is nothing new for him, he has always been insulting and got what he deserved, glad to see his venom off the airwaves

yes, it would be different if this was his first time doing something like this, maybe he could be forgiven over time, but this is a pattern with him and therefore I agree with the decision to fire him from both TV and the radio

yes, he should have been fired, anyone that irresponsible does not belong on the airwaves, I was deeply offened by his foolish remarks

of course it was the correct thing to do, he has been getting a pass for decades and finally his rudeness caught up with him and bit him in the butt, good for him

yes, it had to be done, he knew what he did was wrong and he had to be held accoutable, maybe next time he will think before he speaks

I had never heard of him before this story broke, but from what he said, yes he should have been fired and hopefully he will learn something from this ordeal.

in time forgiveness may be given, but the more important thing is healing of the women's basketball team, they were deeply wronged...
