Ok so I am goin to self destruct... Seriously...  I have a french exchange student comin over to my house to stay for a while to 'taste the Irish culture'. ;D I live in a small country town completely devoid of historical, cultural or any other interest...  Although I suppose there's St Patrick's Day...  And all my french has completely deserted me, 'I no spekken da French no mor' So you guys wish me luck, I'll need it!!!  |

I went to France (Amiens) with school once and I stayed with a French girl...and in May she'll stay a few nights at my house...and I understand your problem!!! She hardly speaks English and I don't speak French that well eighter I'm glad we have pretty much the same interests and hobbies! Btw, if you really don't know what to do anymore...you can always watch a movie If you have DVD, you can watch a movie with French subtitles (Or French synchronized voices and English subtitles...but...HAVE YOU EVER HEARD HOW RIDICULOUS SOMEONE LIKE JOHNNY DEPP for instance IS WITH A FRENCH VOICE OF ANOTHER PERSON?? ) Anyway...I wish you good luck and I think you'll do just fine! ;D You must be better in French than me!!!! <and I mean, MUCH better!> Hugs, Kaminten |

Hey Kaminten  Thanks for the post, it brought a smile to my face ;D(yes it WAS a very big smile-check out the SMILEY) I can't get the image out of my head of Johnny Depp with a french voice... I have to find a DVD like that, seriously... Oh but I watched shrek in French--------- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... pause for breath...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Donkey sounded hilarious... hehehe...
